Blog Journal 6
I found Diigo to be a very good interface, although it is not something that I enjoy using due to the fact that there are several sub-menus that I have to navigate through. Although as someone who is generally bad with technology, I found it to be surprisingly easy to work my way through. I thought that the highlighting and sticky note functions in it were incredibly easy to use and useful tools for the future, although I am under the impression that Diigo is a paid service that I will be unable to access. But with that being said, I did find it to be much easier to use than I had previously expected going into the process.
Blogging has been an alright experience for me, I typically have strong opinions about things so it is not very difficult for me to write all of the required sentences for these assignments. I don't know if I have learned much from blogging, but it is really nice to hear from classmates and see what they think about the same assignments that I am doing. I did find that formatting was something cool I learned from blogging though, because I never realized how forward the settings may seem compared to what is viewable from the "audience" perspective. However, I think that this is something i may continue to use throughout my career teaching as a viable way to collaborate with others.
A tool that I find very useful when it comes to Web 2.0 is the ability to search huge academic article databases through one place. With the FSU library, I am able to find a plethora of academic articles about anything I could imagine without being pigeon-holed into what my declared major is. With these tools, I am able to avoid going to the library as often when I am writing papers which is incredibly useful. The citation capability of it is insane as well, due to the fact that I can click "cite this" and choose from any formatting that I could need.

FSU library provides great resources. However, I recommend you should find a more interactive tool where we can both consume and produce as an active "produser (producer + user)".
