     When we started the process of working on the websites, I was actually quite intimidated at first. With all of the issues that I tend to have with technology, it was quite intimidating. However, I found the website design to be relatively easy. With simple tools in order to drag and drop things, I felt like I could design a website that at least had the capability of navigation, although I really feel as though many people would be able to do a much better job than me. But, nonetheless I was able to accomplish the goal of producing a website that works.

    Diigo on the other hand was much easier for me to figure out, and although at times it felt sort of difficult, having the ability to group source information like that was super useful. This is a resource that I would certainly use moving forward, due to the ease of use from multiple platforms. With everything being so contained, it is really good for sharing work and academic articles that would be a huge aid to students and other teachers alike. I really think that this technological integration that we are moving towards will be great for sharing information between colleagues and students alike.

    I think that technology is a development for teachers that will continue to progress, and it is something that teachers have to stay on top of. I remember when I was in middle school we began having the "smart board" technology coming into play, and it was clearly a sharp learning curve for the teachers that I had. While things like twitter are honestly great tools for keeping up to date on educational technology trends, I find that many teachers most likely will need to look out in advance for what will be coming next. I really find that we are about to hit a huge curve upwards for how powerful technology can become, so it is only a matter of time before we need to be gearing up for the next stage.

    Hi Brad! I looked at your website and I really liked how you designed it. I think the contrast of the white and green is perfect because it makes your text really stand out. It seems like you kept your font designs consistent all the way through which is great for design. The alignment of everything seems perfect and your proximity looks good too. Very well designed!

       As a teacher, we will be dealing with Fair Use and Copyrights on a consistent basis, but the ways that we respect these laws and use the information correctly will prove to be a very important aid. While copyrighting is a means of protecting your intellectual property legally, there are some ways that teachers will be able to use them. With some items being put into the fair use category, as long as it is truly educational and never for commercial use we have the ability to use certain copyrighted items, as long as the specification and citation is present. But with all rights reserved to the owners, we will be able to use certain things and excerpts without having to worry about breaking the law. I find that although technology will be extremely important, we should be sure to focus on the ethical use of it at the forefront.        For this blog, I went to the Leon High School website and clicked on a random teacher's name, and found a mild level website through the High School itself. It is noticeably difficult to find a teacher website because of the "canvas" type website that their information is normally stored through, so I got a very basic level of website such as resources and announcements. I found a good segment for resources for all of these different classes, with different resources for each level of french class. With this, I think that having the classlink login I could get a lot more information, but I understand the security of locking down a classes information from the public.     I think that I will use technology to accomplish my professional responsibilities more efficiently by ensuring that I have a schedule, alongside a list of things to accomplish at each step.  For my standard, I decided to choose the LAFS.910.WHST.3.8 standard that was present in the grades 9-10 section. This standard seems to be largely based on how to construct papers based on research, and is a great means of teaching students how to use things such as bibliography generators, and plagiarism checkers alongside other means of working on papers. I think that I have the tools to teach this, due to the fact that I have used all of the examples of programs that the page suggested for this, but I should probably refresh myself on different citation styles. The only fear I would have is not being quite well versed enough in order to prevent misunderstood citation generation, where I would be unable to tell if it was correctly cited or potential for plagiarism disqualifications.
